About Joseph’s People

Joseph’s People is a non-denominational and ecumenical non-profit group that serves unemployed and underemployed people. Since 1995, we have helped more than 5,000 people to recover from job loss. We have more than 1,800 members with 9 chapters in the Philadelphia area. We are run entirely by volunteers and have no paid staff. All meetings and events are FREE.

Become a Volunteer

We are eager for members of our community to join in our efforts by sharing their time and expertise with our organization. We are actively seeking volunteers to attend our meetings and to aid in the administration of our group. To register your interest in volunteering, please contact us.
