When: Tuesday, July 12, 6:30 p.m.
Where: Saint Joseph Parish Center, 460 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335
All Joseph’s People participants and their families, as well as graduates and program volunteers are invited to the Joseph’s People Annual Summer Picnic and Networking Event hosted by our Downingtown Chapter. This popular event will be held inside and outside the Saint Joseph Parish School cafeteria, which is in the back of the school building using the access road to the right of the church and school.
The Joseph’s People Annual Summer Picnic and Networking Event provides a great opportunity for unemployed or underemployed people and their families to enjoy a delicious meal, play games and relax with other people in transition. Also, summer can be a great time for networking and learning about job opportunities because other job seekers sometimes assume hiring managers curtail their activity during this period. But remember, if a position needs to be filled, the time of year is irrelevant and Joseph’s People members are always providing information about networking and employment.
For more information about the Joseph’s People Annual Summer Picnic and Networking Event, or to request help with transportation to the event, contact Downingtown Chapter Leader Cheryl Spaulding at firstname.lastname@example.org. Volunteers are also needed for this event. Contact Cheryl if you are able to help with set up, clean up or both.
